Joanne Ho is the first Singaporean to graduate from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with an MA in Music Directing. She was nominated for Best Musical Direction in Broadway World’s West End Awards. She has also music directed several shows which were nominated for a Life Theatre Award – The LKY Musical, A Spoonful of Sherman and Treasure Island. Joanne has worked extensively abroad, with credits spanning London, Scotland, Malaysia and Korea.

Recent music directing credits include The LKY Musical (Metropolitan Productions), Spoonful of Sherman (Sing’Theatre) Fun Home (Pangdemonium), Aida, Urinetown, Spring Awakening (Lasalle), Chicken Little, Red Riding Hood, Peter Rabbit, Three Little Pigs, Treasure Island, Three Billy Goats Gruff, Junior Claus (SRT’s Little Company), Carnival Carnivale (ITheatre), The Addams Family (Edinburgh Fringe), Nine (RCS), Songs for a New World (Theatre Lab Productions) and Triple Threats (Pangdemonium). 

Other selected theatre credits include Wicked (International Tour), La Vie En Rose (Sing’Theatre), Urinetown (Pangdemonium), Aida (Limelight Productions, Scotland), The Girl Who (Edinburgh Fringe) The Music of AR Rahman (Celtic Connections), Company (Dream Academy), Betty Blue Eyes (RCS), Cabaret, Spelling Bee, A Chorus Line (Lasalle) and Legally Blonde (RCS). Joanne currently teaches Musical Theatre at Lasalle College of the Arts and has also trained performers at Universal Studios Singapore, NUS, SOTA, Sing’Theatre, Singapore American School and Stamford American School.
